UAC PRAYER in AUSTRALIA
The members of the Union of Catholic Apostolate in Australia acknowledge all of the Traditional Owners who have walked upon and cared for these lands for thousand of years. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing Journey to Reconciliation and Transformation.
This site aims to keep you informed about Pallottine Prayer Events in Australia, give you examples of prayers & reflections, provide links and generally support you in your individual and communal prayer.
Prayer of Trust
You know the way for me, you know the time,
Into your hands I trustingly place mine
Your plan is perfect, born of perfect love
You know the way for me, This way is love.
Amen.
We pray for all members of the Union of Catholic Apostolate
especially for those in areas of conflict, such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Ukraine
that they remain safe and full of courage during times of uncertainty and fear as they continue to carry out their apostolates or commence new ones
That everyone might have food
Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food
Lord of creation, you gave us the fertile earth and, with it, our daily bread, as a sign of your love and providence. Today we acknowledge with sorrow that millions of brothers and sisters still suffer from hunger, while so much food is wasted at our tables. Awaken in us a new awareness: that we may learn to give thanks for every meal, to consume with simplicity, to share with joy, and to care for the fruits of the earth as your gift, meant for all, not just a few. Good Father, make us capable of transforming the logic of selfish consumption into a culture of solidarity. May our communities promote concrete gestures: awareness campaigns, food banks, and a simple, responsible lifestyle. You who sent your beloved Son Jesus, bread broken for the life of the world, give us a new heart, hungry for justice and thirsty for fraternity. May no one be excluded from the common table, and may your Spirit teach us to see bread not as a product to consume, but as a sign of communion and care. Amen.Let us pray
